PARTICIPANTS OF THE KAZAKHSTAN BUSINESS COUNCIL FAMILIARIZED WITH THE WORK OF RADUGA LLP
In Petropavlovsk, in the framework of the upcoming meeting of the Kazakh-Russian business council on the topic “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Tourism Development”, an introductory excursion to Raduga LLP was organized for its participants by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of North Kazakhstan.
The workshops of the well-known multi-company in the region and the winner of the regional competition “The Best Goods of Kazakhstan 2018” in the category “Best food products” were reviewed by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the NCE RK “Atameken”, the Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Ayan Erenov and Baurzhan Sartbayev, Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in Russia.
At first they got acquainted with the production of breakfast cereals, then went to the fast food section, the section for the production of snack products and to the plant of reinforced plastic products.
Raduga LLP began to produce dry breakfast cereals in 2016. Previously, the company supplied similar products from Russia to the region, and then decided to launch its own production.
“Here we have corn sticks under the two trademarks “Captain Crunch” and “Hit” in packaging from 50 to 500 grams. There are also sticks with the taste of condensed milk, and recently we launched chocolate sticks for sale. The company also produces several types of breakfast cereals: flakes, balls and ringlets. Here is the whole line of breakfast cereals, now we are working on launching the second line, where 11 more positions will be presented. All products are made from selected corn or corn grits with the addition of natural ingredients - sugar, natural honey, cocoa and contains vitamins and minerals,” – Yekaterina Asaenok, the plant’s chief technologist, explained.
After familiarizing with the work of the enterprise and the history of its formation, the guests were surprised at how the company specializing only in distribution at the initial stage could not only expand its product range, but also “grow” to the largest producer of food and non-food consumer goods.
For many years, “Raduga” has been processing plastic film into granules, which is the material for producing plastic products - buckets, basins, cups, food containers, flower pots, watering cans, dishes and much more. There is also a factory of reinfoced plastic products, and a factory for the production of detergents. The company considers recycling of waste paper to be another promising area for starting production in the region. It is planned to make toilet paper and napkins. And here they want to launch a workshop for the production of soap. Only consumer goods are produced at 1.5 billion tenge every month.
After reviewing the work of the enterprise, the guests were interested in where the main sales of products are carried out, and how much is exported.
“Most of the products manufactured in production today are sold not only in Petropavlovsk and regions of North Kazakhstan, but also in almost all regions of Kazakhstan, where we have our own stores. 10% of all our products are successfully exported to Russia,” - Dmitry Sharapayev, General Director of Raduga LLP, notes.
By the way, since last year, another project was successfully launched at the enterprise - this is the ProfResurs training center, in which 124 people have already been trained, 96 of whom have started working at the enterprise. These are foundry workers and welders of plastics, extruder machinists, plastics granulating machinists, service engineers of various automated machines. Currently, 30 more North Kazakhstanis are studying here. They have already completed a theory course and now strengthen their knowledge in practice.
