100 brands named after well-known Kazakhstani residents will appear in the run-up to Expo

This was stated at a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of RK the President of ULE "Federation of the quality control system of Kazakhstani goods and services” Rimma Tazhibaeva. She summed up the work on promotion of domestic products on the Kazakhstani market in 2016.

So, she reported that in October this year the Association of light industry enterprises of Kazakhstan in conjunction with the Association of Legal Entities "Federation of the quality control system of Kazakhstani goods and services "Halyk Markasy" and the Association of trading enterprises of Kazakhstan with the support of the National Chamber "Atameken" opened the light industry sector on the territory of the pavilion "Made in Kazakhstan - Halyk Markasy", permanent exhibition-fair on the platform of the trading house "Samghau". The sector is represented by more than 50 companies, representing products of light industry.

At present, this project involves more than 100 companies from all over Kazakhstan. It is planned to attract more than 500 domestic brands to the site of the trading house "Samghau".

It should be noted that within the first trade fair pavilion "Made in Kazakhstan - Halyk Markasy" at the trading house "Samghau" in order to promote goods and services of the best regional Kazakhstani producers, entrepreneurs can rent a pavilion for one year free of charge in the size of 6 to 100 square meters, a certificate and a sign "Halyk Markasy", which the manufacturer can use for two years in advertising, on packaging, labels, stands, shop windows, etc., services of a sales assistant, as well as the presentation of the products during the Expo -2017. The pavilion "Made in Kazakhstan - Halyk Markas" will enter the tourist map of Astana, which will ensure a great attendance of the shopping center.

"All the products that are on the shelves of the shopping center, are made by hands of domestic producers. The quality of the goods, if not better, is certainly not worse than the one of foreign analogues. Prices are affordable. The quality is high. Products under the brand Made in KZ occupy their niche", - said Tazhibaeva.

In addition, she reported that prior to Expo, it is planned to create 100 absolutely new national brands in various industries. "The uniqueness of this project is that it will involve famous people: the stars of show business, sports, MPs, well-known personalities. Brands will be created after their names", - said Tazhibaeva.

After the briefing, at the SCC was presented the first brand named after Adilbek Niyazymbetov: small models demonstrated "ADOKA" children's sportswear. The brand was founded with the support of akimat of Mangistau region of Kazakhstan and the Association of Light Industry Enterprises. This is one of the first brands of the Agency' on management of national brands "Made in Kazakhstan". Today she has received an order of more than 15 thousand items.

"7 pavilions "Halyk Markasy" will open by the EXPO in Astana City, which will work as duty-free, that is, the goods will be sold with a discount of 30%", - also said Rimma Tazhibaeva.

The defender of domestic producers told about her experiment. "I did small apartment renovation. And I was surprised that I only used the Kazakhstani products - furniture, wallpaper, paint, doors, etc. Then I dressed myself and children in all Kazakhstani clothes. Now I switched to food – I buy everything made in Kazakhstan. So I knew from my own experience that we have everyhting, the main thing is to orient the Kazakhstani consumers", - she added.

Implementation of these projects will help to increase the volume of production of domestic enterprises, to create additional jobs, but it will also create favorable conditions for the development of Kazakhstani business, said the president of the Association of Light Industry Enterprises of Kazakhstan Lubov Khudova.

"Just until recently, almost all products - from pillows to furniture – were imported from abroad. Today the situation has changed. Kazakh producers are ready to present their products to consumers", - concluded Tazhibaeva.
