Kazakhstan introduces new border crossing guide for truck drivers due to state of emergency
International freight traffic after the closure of the border has resumed with the necessary medical examination to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The driver must follow strictly to the temporary storage warehouses of the destination and stay in the cab of the vehicle. It is prohibited to go and stay in public places. The driver may visit only petrol stations, public catering facilities, grocery stores, specially equipped parking lots. He has the right to visit service stations if his car is broken.
What should the driver do if he has symptoms of coronavirus?
It is necessary to stay in the cabin of the vehicle, call 103 or 112, inform about the condition, location of the vehicle, number of people in the cabin, and wait for the arrival of an ambulance.
Loading Rules and Instructions
After customs clearance and unloading of the vehicle, when loading and customs processing of cargo the foreign truck driver is obliged to be at the place of loading and customs clearance.
While waiting for loading, the car and driver may be in a special parking lot for trucks.
After loading and customs clearance, the driver must strictly follow the border to the vehicle checkpoint, where he must leave Kazakhstan under the same conditions of stay and entry.
