Kazakhstan recommends citizens to refrain from travelling to six countries with coronavirus cases

Kazakhstanis are not recommended to travel to the countries stricken by the coronavirus: Japan, the Republic of Korea, Iran, Italy, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

In turn, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces that since March 1, 2020, the number of regular flights will be limited.

Air Astana

- Almaty - Seoul, from 5 flights to 1 flight per week;

- Nur-Sultan - Seoul, from 2 flights to 1 flight per week;

Asiana Airlines:

- Almaty - Seoul, from 2 flights to 1 flight per week; Nur-Sultan - Seoul, from 2 flight to 1 flight per week; Asiana Airlines: Almaty - Seoul, from 2 flights to 1 flight per week;

Mahan Air:

Almaty - Tehran, 1 flight per week is suspended.

Passengers who have tickets from March 1 for the abovementioned flights may apply for a ticket refund. The sums will be issued without penalties and in full.

Earlier WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus noted that the сoronavirus outbreak has 'pandemic potential'.
