Kazakhstani clothing manufacturers exhibit products in Nur-Sultan
It is possible to view and buy clothes at the domestic manufacturers’ exhibition in the capital of Kazakhstan.
The organizers of the exhibition of Kazakhstani clothing manufacturers decided to show the youth that the domestic brands are equal to imported brands, and the Kazakhstani clothing has its own style and high quality of products.
Kazakhstani manufacturers presented their line of men's, women's and children's wear such as business suits, jackets and military uniforms for students and others.
In addition, the manufacturers have destroyed the myth that clothing of high quality should be expensive. According to the chairman of the executive consortium Zhasampaz Public Chamber Gulmira Uakhitova, the prices of domestic brands are affordable, whereas the cost of import clothing of similar quality is sometimes unjustifiably high.
“Unfortunately, not everyone knows about domestic brands. Indeed, Kazakhstan has its own textile enterprises producing cotton and mixed fabrics and textiles,” Gulmira Uakhitova said.
The exhibition was organized by the Atameken NCE RK, Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, “Made in Kazakhstan”, Association of Commodity Producers and Entrepreneurs, Union of Light Industry Manufacturers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that in order to support and popularize the enterprises of light industry in Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin approved the Road Map for the support of light industry. Also, the Project Office of the Economy of simple things started its work at the Atameken.
Remind that, on 7 - 8 June 2019 Korme exhibition centre will host a sectoral event “Forum and Exhibition of Light Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan” dedicated to the international day of workers in light industry in Nur-Sultan. Also, as part of the Forum and the exhibition, the results of the National Contest of Fashion Designers "ALTYN OIMAQ - 2019" will be announced.
