The export potential of Kazakhstan was presented in the capital of Qatar
On 14th of December 2017 Qatar-Kazakhstan investment business forum was held in Doha (the State of Qatar)
The organizers from the Kazakh side were the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NCE RK "Atameken", the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Qatar, from the Qatari side - the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar.
Within the framework of the business forum, the Kazakh delegation led by the Vice Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented investment projects of Kazakhstan, and also presented the export potential of Kazakhstani products (including agricultural and food products, considering that up to 90% of the products are delivered to Qatar due from abroad).
Also, the Kazakh delegation took part in the exhibition "Made in Qatar", which is held under the patronage of Emir of Qatar, where our country was presented by the national stand.
On the margins of the exhibition, a Memorandum was signed between the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar on the establishment of the Business Council between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Qatar, whose goal is to develop trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
