The issues of Kazakh content in procurement of backbone enterprises were discussed in Almaty. The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Agency for Local Content "NADLoC" discussed issues of supporting and increasing the share of local content in procurement of goods, works and services of large backbone enterprises. The possibility of reducing the cost of products (raw materials, semi-finished products) produced by backbone enterprises for the domestic market were discussed at the round table. As well as the conclusion of off-take agreements and co-financing for the expansion of the product line, the provision of prepayment for concluded contracts for the supply of GWS, as well as the reasons for the weak interest in cooperation with SMEs, long payment terms for provided GWS. The producers of machine-building products from Almaty and Almaty region met with big business: JSC "Kelet", LLP "ELKOS", LLP "Taldykorgan cable plant", LLP "Asia Electric", LLP "SOLO", LLP "Ak Kabel", LLP "Mechanic plant" "TAU", JSC "Zhersu Metal", LLP "Saiman Corporation", LLP "Methacon", LLP "REM-CRAN", LLP "KZTA-Kazakhstani Pipe Valve Plant", LLP "TECHSNABELEKTRIKS", LLP "Energy Company", LLP "Temir Metal", LLP "Malaya metallurgia RK", LLP "Taldykorgan Cable Plant", LLP "Kaynar-AKB", LLP "Buran Boiler". It should be noted that earlier large enterprises - LLP Eurasian Group, LLP KazZinc, JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau, LLP Kazakhmys Corporation concluded tripartite agreements on mutual understanding between the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" to develop new types of products by domestic enterprises. Work in this direction will continue.
Representatives of major backbone companies and domestic producers agreed on further cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the production of JSC "Kelet" and LLP "Corporation Saiman".
