The demand for specialists in the field of tourism grows
A regular job fair was held in Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov. The unique platform for search of jobs attracted more than 50 students and university graduates in the field of state and local governance, management and marketing. Representatives of the Chamber of entrepreneurs, businesses, financial institutions and government agencies were present there. More than 20 job fairs were held during six months in the region with the participation of the Chamber. Candidates not just leave their CV, but also get to know and to talk with employers. Fair – is a good opportunity to learn the labor market, to take into account their errors and to reveal the dignity, say the organizers.
Today employers note a special need for tourism professionals. Considering the tourism potential of the region, the demand for personnel increases every year. For the development of this industry and quality training, it is necessary to involve business representatives. So now the Chamber of Entrepreneurs has begun work to include this qualification in the roadmap of dual training. Now, the business will participate in the training of tourism personnel.
"Considerable attention is attached in the world to training of personnel for tourist business. Future specialists need not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. Students passed an internship at industrial companies, however, this interaction was not always effective. Thanks to the dual training most of the time the student will be trained by a prospective employer", - said the head of human capital development unit of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Almagul Ongarbaeva.
Earlier in Talgar district in conjunction with the Employment Centre was organized a job fair with the participation of more than 20 enterprises, 85 of them are unemployed. At the end of the fair 18 vacancies were proposed and 12 people were employed.
