Perhaps in the near future in Kazakhstan saumal - dry mare's milk will become as traditional as mare’s milk

This new product, which has amazing healing properties, will win markets of other countries. It is crucial for the diet of many sick people, children and athletes. And meanwhile, the new drink claims for victory in the competition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan".

The republican contest-exhibition was held on 18th-19th of November in Astana, this time together with the II forum of domestic producers "Uly Dala Eli". Both events were held at "Korme" exhibition center, where 145 companies - winners of regional competitions presented their products.

The plant “Eurasia Invest Ltd." uses German technology, which allows you to fully preserve all the beneficial properties of freah mare's milk. This dry product has a number of advantages: longer shelf life, compactness and ease of transport. There are no analogues of this production not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the post-Soviet space. Mare's milk – is full of macro - and micro- elements, essential fatty acids and vitamins. Production is export-oriented, saumal is in demand in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Visitors paid attention to the stand of the winner of the regional competition - Balkhash bakery plant LLP "Pulse". The company was opened last year, creating dozens of jobs. The implementation of this enterprise was made possible through the state program of development of single-industry towns, initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as with the support of financial institutions JSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu". Today, the company produces more than 65 kinds of products. Specialists use modern European recipes. They are oriented to the production of dietary breads with added bran, flax seed, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dates, prunes, raisins, dried apricots, corn, oats, buckwheat and dried carrots.

Another participant from our region in the field of food products - JSC "Poultry farm named after K. Marx", known in the market under its own brand "Kurochka Ryaba" and "Kud-Kuda". The poultry farm has its own feed mill with the capacity of 8 tons per hour. According to the leadership of LLP, the use of the best equipment of German firms allowed to raise the number of bird places, to achieve higher levels of egg production with less labor input that facilitates the work of poultry farmers, provides them with a decent income.

As you know, since last year only the representatives of large and medium-sized businesses can participate in the competition, but also individual entrepreneurs. On the one hand, it made it more interesting and versatile, and on the other - more sharply marked the issue of demand, the search of markets, exports.

Such small producers, especially in agriculture, because of its small-scale do not actually have access to business networks, noted the chairman of the Board of NCE RK "Atameken" Ablay Myrzakhmetov, speaking at the forum. According to him, there is a path that Russia has followed: it is rigidly enshrined in the law, that there should be a 50 per cent representation of domestic producers. Or we need to subsidize small and perhaps medium-sized businesses, so they can get to the shelves.

Another Karaganda participant of the exhibition and the forum - LLP "ETF" shared its experience in survival and strengthening of its market position. The main activity of the company is the production of electrical products for industrial and civil construction. Today, it has the ability to rebuild quickly its production to another type of goods demanded by the client, taking into account seasonality. In addition, a pledge of competitiveness and stability – is a wide range of manufactured products.

At the competition in Astana, our region was also represented by JSC "Temirtau Electric Steel Plant", the main activity of which is the extraction of manganese ore and limestone, the production of ferroalloy and calcium carbide from it; industrial silicon plant LLP “Tau Ken Temir”; manufacturer of dry building mixes - LLP "Mutlu gypsum"; LLP “Sunpaper” - production of paper and hygiene products.

The contest-exhibition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan" will be held in three nominations: "The best industrial goods"; "The best goods for the population"; "The Best food product".

Winners of the competition will be awarded with diplomas and the emblem of the Republican contest-exhibition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan” of I, II and III degree in each category. They will also receive the right for a period of four years to use the competition logo for promotional purposes. On 6th of December will be held the awarding ceremony of the winners together with the competitors of "Altyn Sapa" with the participation of the President. This year 10 regional companies participate in it.

Companies - LLP "Alian-paint", "Temirtau Association", "Karaganda plant of non-ferrous metal", "Svetotekhnika" demonstrate their goods out of the competition. The initiative was not in vain, businesses were able to hold meetings in the B2B format, to get answers from top officials.

 An important theme of the forum was the export of products. The Chairman of the Board of NCE said that now the question of the transfer of this function to the National Chamber is being discussed. "We are ready in December to prepare the strategy of export development with specific roadmaps for China, Russia, Iran - nearest markets. Sales markets are extremely important for business now. The state machine is a little slow and does not always comply with the interests of the market", - said Ablay Myrzakhmetov. He cited the example of Russian export hub, thanks to the work of which the neighboring country was able to sell in Kazakhstan a large amount of its products. "We need serious tools if we are to enter at least the markets of the nearest neighbors", - he stressed.

NCE "Atameken" also initiated the annual competition for the right to use the umbrella brand "Uly Dala Eli". The nomination will be awarded annually to the best domestic producers and service providers of the country, allowing to promote the brand in Kazakhstan on an international scale. Emblem "Uly Dala Eli" will bring together high-quality products and services under a single brand, becoming the hallmark of our country. On the one hand, it will be a strong incentive for producers, particularly in the light of additional features and preferences for the winners, on the other - to improve the image and recognition of Kazakhstan at the international arena.
