Representatives of the authorized state agencies and the regional business community discussed the development of bilateral cooperation at the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs with the delegation from Azerbaijan
The delegation – included the head of the Consulate General in Aktau Elkhan Zeynalov, vice president of of the Association of business investments of Azerbaijan, Gunduz Mammadli, a representative of the logistics center in Aktau Alakbar Muradov, a spokesman of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Embassy Nasimi Shikarov, representative of diaspora organization Eldar Akhmedov. "West Kazakhstan region – is a very interesting area with good economic potential, - said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan Rashad Mammadov. - The purpose of our meeting – is to increase mutual trade, investments, to create joint ventures. We met with the leaders of the region, visited the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the WKR. We want to export our products to Kazakhstan, as well as to adjust the supply of goods to Azerbaijan from the WKR from raw materials to finished products. To do this, all conditions have been created: there is political will, legislation. Today we present the export potential of Azerbaijan and got acquainted with the industrial potential of your region".
Regional entrepreneurs were told about the possibilities of the logistics center, located in the seaport "Aktau".
Compact by the territory, today Azerbaijan thanks to the competent policy, the existing climatic and mineral resources is quite a developed country. Since independence, there were implemented the largest investment projects in the field of transport infrastructure, there were created agro-parks to provide agricultural producers with necessary equipment. Long-standing and close trade and economic relations connect it with Kazakhstan - the former fraternal republic delivers to us a wide range of goods from food to electrical appliances. At the same time, and the volume of imports into the country is considerable. For example, as it was noted by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan they buy grains. They are also interested in growing it here for their own needs. The opening of joint ventures is quite relevant in this regard.
"We believe that on the basis of our enterprises, involving a small investment, you can start production of new products, - said the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of WKR Nurlan Kairshin. - Even today, Western Kazakhstan agricultural producers and enterprises, working in the field of processing of agricultural products, are ready to adjust to supply flour and pasta, meat and other products to Azerbaijan. "Following the meeting, the Kazakh side has provided a list of local companies by sector, as well as quotations from them.
