Entrepreneurs plan to develop tourism in Koksu District
The work on support of projects is in progress at the district. With participation of the branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs were developed and produced a number of projects: a complex kumys curing center, ecological park, poultry and leather production. The subject of tourism is particularly relevant, as there are no popular tourism destinations in the district. The situation could change if there will be investors. But meanwhile entrepreneurs intend to implement projects at their own expense.
For example, a sports tourist complex on the basis of kumys curing centre was presented to local authorities. "Almaty region – is a magical world of forests, lakes, scenic gorges, cliffs, canyons and springs, inviting tourists from different corners of our country, to enjoy the silence of the forest, to breathe the fragrance of honey herbs. The air is pure, infused with pine resin, it is rich in ozone. That is why the opening of a sports complex on the basis of the tourist kumy curing centre is not only tactical step but also a strategic one in nature in terms of development of tourism industry in Almaty region as a whole", - said the author of the project Saltanat Uteshbaeva.
The infrastructure of a sports tourist complex consist of 4 guest cabins, 2 yurts, camping for tents and tents, a kitchen-dining room, a small house for staff, sanitary rooms, baths, parking for cars. It is planned to construct a sports complex for 200 people. For outdoor enthusiasts, who simply want to relax in tents in the area, it is planned to make a tent zone equipped with parking, places for installation of tents, wooden tables and benches, a yurt, where vacationers will be able to taste the dishes of national cuisine.
"Additional services are an integral part of recreation in the field. Guests can rent horses, quads, bikes, skis and snowmobiles. Vacationers will also be able to pass on the cultural-cognitive and pilgrimage route to the highest point of Koksu district, which is 2551 m", - said the director of the branch of the Chamber in Koksu district of Almaty region Marat Bakiyev. The project cost is estimated at 80 million tenge.
Soon residents of Koksu and guests can enjoy the environmental health complex "Eco Park", which will be located in the village of Akshatogan. To promote healthy lifestyles it is planned to open a ski track, mini football pitch, summer camp, kumys cafe, deck chairs, an indoor pool and a children's playground. The amount of the project is from 100 000 to 500 000 dollars, is planned to achieve self-sufficiency within 5 years.
Besides tourism projects was presented a poultry farm for the production of leather. Poultry farm will operate on the basis of German technology. Project will be financed from its own funds and state subsidies. "The total project cost is 20 million tenge. Estimated volume of production is 2,550,000 thousand eggs a year. The constant demand of eggs among population, as well as the relatively small cost of production will provide a steady income throughout the year ", - added the entrepreneur Sagat Shumbulatov.
Another project is aimed at restoring national traditions for the leather industry. An entrepreneur plans to process leather for footwear, automotive details and garments.
According to Marat Bakiyev, the total investment for these projects is 155 million tenge. All projects have been supported, and Akim of the district Almas Adil ordered structural units to investigate the possibility of allocation of land plots. Afterwards he intends to review personally and to inspect the places of their implementation.
