The second in the country store of Kazakhstani clothing opened in Karaganda

"The most active working body under the Chamber the Committee of light industry has been looking for a long time for the opening of a separate platform for the sale of products of local garment factories. During the talks with the leaders of the largest shopping center in Karaganda "Tair", we asked to assist in opening a specialized store, where local producers would trade on favorable terms and have a competitive advantage. They assisted us, and now at the area of 200 square meters will be represented about 20 domestic brands that produce clothes and shoes for different age groups", - he said.
Now on the shelves of the stores are available Shymkent suits, goods of Karaganda shoe factory and hosiery of the company "Esko".
The first buyer of the new sales point became akim of the region Nurmukhambet Abdibekov. During the presentation of the goods, the head of the region found a men's cardigan from the metropolitan couturier. However, the product, made of wool and acrylic, is half Kyrgyz. He also liked the shirt, made by Semei designer. "It is better to support the Kazakh producer, even if you have to overpay little", - said Akim of Karaganda region. - "This is a good start. I would like stores to be established in all settlements of the region".
According to the president of the Union of manufacturers of light industry of Kazakhstan Saule Shauenova, it is the second facility of the kind. The first was opened six months ago in Astana and in spite of unfavorable forecasts, it justifies itself. After all, the store sells goods, made in Kazakhstan. And you can buy sports goods and home textiles in addition to casual shoes and clothing. And, by the way, the home textile is completely made in Kazakhstan - from cotton grown in the south of the country to its processing and tailoring.
"Thank you so much for having supported us in the endeavor. Now we have our own playground, where the average consumer can come and buy locally produced goods. The rent is cheap here, hence there will be no sky-high prices", - said the chairman of the committee of Light Industry of RCE of Karaganda region Andrei Shmarin at the opening of the store.
In honor of the opening of "UniverMAG.kz", entrepreneurs decided to make a gift to Karaganda residents - they organized 25 certificates for targeted low-income families with school children. On the day of the presentation, the first four of them were able to buy backpacks, shirts, blouses, skirts and pants for 150 thousand tenge.
