South Kazakhstani cotton expands sales market
One of the largest Russian textile companies intends to work directly with a cotton processing plant in South Kazakhstan
At the Chamber of Entrepreneurs was held a meeting with participation of the famous Russian textile enterprise "Shuiskie citzy" with South Kazakhstani cotton-processing plants. The purpose of the visit of Russians to South Kazakhstan is to establish direct supply of cotton from our region. To this day, the company worked through trading companies, which buy up to 80 percent of Kazakhstan's cotton in Russia. All these supplies through a long chain of intermediaries adversely affect the cost of Russian textile products, leading to an increase in the cost of production.
As it was noted by the General Director of JSC "Shuiskie citzy" Anna Bogadelina, Kazakhstan cotton is well known in Russia, it is suitable to them by the price and quality. The plant in the near future plans to expand production, because it will require large amounts of raw materials. In this regard, it was necessary to get the cotton directly.
Guests held B2B meetings with five major cotton-processing companies - "Kazakhstan maktasy", LLP "Yasi", "Hanshuar", "Minlegprom", "Roudtekst", discussed the prospects of further partnership. We also visited the plants and the cotton fields of the companies. The Russians are very seriously interested in cotton processing plant "Minlegprom".
