Another 48 Kazakhstani entrepreneurs traveled to Germany to establish "Business Connections"

This year, three groups of entrepreneurs underwent overseas training within the project of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of RK "Atameken" "Business Connections". 8 people visited Cologne, two more groups of 20 people visited Hamburg and Dresden.

"All groups have successfully completed the training, they came with their ideas. Everyone has different results: some signed contracts with German companies, some entrepreneurs have invited German experts to their enterprises, others just continued business correspondence", - said the expert of the Department of Regional Development NCE RK Erlan Mustafin.

According to him, entrepreneurs do not always share information about their arrangements, as they are afraid to put a hex on it. "But we see that many companies have come with positive results. Some have even become providers of some parts or raw materials to the German factories. There are certain results", - stated the representative of “Atameken”.

Mustafin said that every year a special conference is held, where program participants present the results of their internship. The participants of previously implemented successful projects are also invited.

So, we can give as an example Anatoly Rud head of LLP “TRANSSCANIA”, which, thanks to the project "Business Connections", has found a partner for the international cargo transportation, upgraded fleet, as well as an exclusive dealership agreement for the sale of trawls HRD Trailer Engineering in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The representative of LLP "KAZKAUCHUK" Shynbolat Baykulov, in turn, founded the joint Kazakh-German joint venture for the production of active rubber crumb and soil irrigation tubes. He established mass production by innovative German technology in Kyzylorda and started to export its products to China.

Another entrepreneur, previously participated in the program "Business Communication", Sana Zhandai (LLP "ADANAZ") has mastered the production of new types of products - paper packaging. She found a German equipment supplier, has acquired a production line for paper bags and packaging with the application of multi-color printing, organized production process and now supplies food packaging manufacturers.

According to Mustafina, earlier within the program entrepreneurs also visited Japan and the United States. The negotiations are on with these countries regarding re-establishment of contacts with them again. Cooperation with India is also under discussion.

The project of NCE "Business Connections" consists of two phases. The first includes a free 3-week business training to improve the skills and training to modern methods of business, marketing, establishment of business contacts with business partners (led by foreign and local business trainers and consultants). The second stage involves a 4-week thematic business training in Germany at enterprises with similar profile, as well as the establishment of business relations with foreign partners on issues of technology transfer and acquisition of equipment; mutual supply of goods, works and services; the acquisition of franchises and licenses; receiving grants from international and foreign organizations and the creation of joint ventures.

The purpose of the project is to support small and medium-sized businesses through the establishment of business relations with foreign partners, supported by international and foreign organizations.
