How German experience is used at local enterprises?
In Astana were summed up the results of one of the most successful projects of the Kazakh-German cooperation "Business Communication"
German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" held a conference in Astana for graduates of management training programs and the project "Business Communication". Graduates of the program - are the leaders of Kazakhstani enterprises, which at various times have passed 4-week training in Germany in order to find partners and to establish economic ties with German business.
Management training program is being implemented in Kazakhstan since 2004. Since January 2016 NCE RK "Atameken" became a partner in the project. The program is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, Germany.
The conference was opened by the Director of the Department of Regional Development NCE RK Maripbek Shakerbek. He said that this year, 48 entrepreneurs have been trained in Germany. 3 groups of participants were formed: the first in the amount of 8 people and two by 20 people. The first two groups were trained from 10th of April to 5th of May this year in Cologne and Hamburg, respectively cities. The third group had an internship in the period from 6th of June to 1st of July this year in Dresden. According to the representative of NCE, during the years of implementation of the instrument there were held business trainings to improve the managerial competence of more than 3 thousand managers of small and medium-sized businesses. More than 500 businessmen were sent on overseas training.
"I would like to note the high efficiency of the program, which is determined in the first place, by review and achieved results of participants. "Atameken" intends to continue the effective implementation of the instrument "Business Communications" by improving social and professional intercultural competence of Kazakhstani business leaders", - he said.
Ambassador of Germany in Kazakhstan Rolf Mafael, speaking at a conference, called "Business Communications" one of the standard programs of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany.
"I am very impressed with the figures, which announced Mr. Shakerbek. I was also impressed by the fact that participants in the program remain faithful to this program and participate in the following events, organized as part of it", - he said.
The diplomat stressed the importance of such programs for the development of Kazakhstan's economy. "The Kazakh government has big plans for the development of the national economy, it is the goal to enter the 30 most competitive countries. It is very important to have a well-developed stable small and medium-sized enterprises to create a strong diversified economy. And you as the participants of this program are key figures that can carry out this important task of the state", - he said.
The Ambassador noted that in 60-70 years, the rapid growth of the economy, due to the increase of small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany, called the "miracle of the Rhine". "I want to say that you face the challenge to turn the "Miracle of the Rhine" in "Wonder Esil". This is a difficult task. But I had time for this time to meet with many of the people of Kazakhstan, and I find them very energetic and ambitious. I think they will cope with the task of creating competitive enterprises ", - he added.
Head of the program of training managers in Central Asia Angela Lech told about the results of the survey to participants of last year's program.
According to her, 14% of respondents have been promoted to positions, 9% have created their own businesses, 5% became representatives of the German economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Leche sounded real economic results of the program, which can be seen on the questioning. "45 participants, who took part in the survey, stated that they have fully implemented 12 contracts with German companies. This represents 25% of all participants of the program, which is a very good result. 7 contracts are ongoing", - she said.
In addition, after training in Germany, participants noted that realized that the main thing - quality. 58% of participants acquired new equipment. "The internship also contributed to the internal atmosphere in the company. 56% of participants said that they began to engage employees in the decision-making process. This, too, they saw in Germany - a different style of management ", - added Angela Leche.
Entrepreneurs delivered lectures, who have been trained abroad. They spoke about how they apply German experience after training within the program.
Zahid Musabekova has undergone training in Shtudgarde. She has worked in the landscaping company. In Germany she went with cooperation projects for the construction of greenhouses for growing lettuce.
"I am currently working as a technologist, an agronomist in my own company. After the internship, I discovered two new companies on gardening. We have a greenhouse in Almaty, where we grow flowers", - she said.
The businesswoman has established cooperation with two German companies for the supply of seeds and coniferous shrubs. "As a result of the internship, we have changed thinking, we precept business in a different way. We have the opportunity to attract additional expertise, the opportunity to export to Russia", - added the business woman.
Nurbanu Imangazieva told a very interesting and motivating story of her success after participating in the program.
"Before training in Germany, I was the head of several companies in the field of HoReCa. I went to Germany on behalf of our company - a network of pubs. We had to buy brewing equipment. What happens after the program? I acquired sufficient competence and self-confidence that I could get away from my uncle's business and to open my own business. Now I have a workshop for production of semi-finished products. My company is only 3 months and today I signed my first contract - a contract for the supply of products in the hypermarket "Ramstore". I have created 10 jobs. Today I purchased new equipment to increase productivity of their company", - she said.
