Milk: made in Zhambyl
Dairy companies of the region want to produce goods under a single brand
This decision was taken on the basis of the round table "The application of the standards by domestic enterprises" in the sphere of production of milk and milk products carried out in order to support local entrepreneurs. The event was organized by Zhambyl branch of RSE "Kazakhstani Institute of Standardization and Certification" and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Zhambyl region.
The participants were 10 largest dairy companies of the region, representatives of state bodies, companies operating in the field of standardization and certification and supervisory bodies.
In modern conditions standardization is an important tool to protect the economic security of the country and to promote domestic products on the market in an adequate way, which sets the level of technical requirements to technology and serves as a benchmark for the industry in selection of technical solutions.
"Producers, farmers, retailers and service providers benefit from not having to comply with the set of specifications and requirements for different markets. Standards make the industry more competitive and facilitate global trade. They spread best practice and innovation, so that the industry does not need to reinvent the wheel, at the same time, facilitating access to the markets of new technologies", - said the director of the branch of the Kazakhstani Institute of Standardization and Certification Askar Mynbayev.
He told in detail to entrepreneurs about methods of application of international standards and standards of foreign states, the new legal requirements for public procurement for the formation of technical specifications based on national guidance and non-standards with the use of the Unified nomenclature directory of goods and services.
RSE "Kazakhstani Institute of Standardization and Certification" in conjunction with the Chamber of entrepreneurs decided to review shortly the list of goods, works and services for 2017 and determine the domestic enterprises that produce milk and dairy products, using normative documents on standardization. In addition, they must determine the need for non-governmental standards to protect domestic producers. Entrepreneurs, participating the event in conjunction with the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs will consider a draft of the association and the adoption of a single brand for milk and dairy products in the region.
