The company “Amcor Tobacco Packaging Kazakhstan” is engaged in the production of packaging for the tobacco industry and is part of Amcor Global Tobacco packaging, acquired by concern Rio Tinto. In the year, the company produces 1.6 billion packs of blanks.
A recent case nearly stripped the company of income at the customs post. It was found that the goods remained at the border due to incorrect filling in of a customs declaration. The company sought the help of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty region. Because the cargo was issued on the territory of Almaty, for the prompt and effective solution of this issue, it was decided to contact the experts the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the southern capital. An expert of the department on reduction of administrative barriers RCE of Almaty Daniyar Kerimbekov organized a meeting with the leadership of the State Revenue Department.
"Often entrepreneurs face the problem of wrong declaration. The bottom line is that the recipient and the provider indicate different weight of the goods. Because of this error, the goods remain in customs. After the negotiations with the competent authority the customs declaration was considered correct. Thus, the question of the entrepreneurs was resolved", - said the expert A. Kerimbekov.
After the explanation of the customs regulation, the management of “Amcor Tobacco Packaging Kazakhstan” expressed its gratitude and noted professionalism of the expert of the Chamber of Almaty.
This is not the first effective cooperation of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty region and Almaty city. Previously, in order to solve the problems of entrepreneurs, regional councils of the two chambers held joint meetings in Taldykorgan and ICBC "Khorgos".
