It is the first anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic Business Club
The Diplomatic Business Club, which was created by the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of RK "Atameken", became a recognizable platform. With the help of representatives of Kazakhstan's business, we had an opportunity to present the most attractive business projects to the accredited diplomatic corps of Astana.
The consolidating role of the Business Club was marked today during the regular meeting, timed to coincide with the first anniversary of its establishment. Speaking at the opening of the meeting, the Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov thanked partner organizations, among them the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
"I want to thank our partners – NCE RK "Atameken" and the Chairman of the Presidium of NCE Timur Kulibayev for their active support. The launch of our club has been successful, and everything demonstrates that the club will have a long and successful life", - said the Minister.
Summing up the activity of the club, Mr. Idrisov noted the growing interest among foreign heads of missions to travel and to study the business projects in the regions. Such contacts help not only to provide information about the new investment projects, but also to promote an active foreign investment in the future.
The significance of the Business Club is highly estimated by foreign diplomats. "I am confident that the cooperation in this format would be very helpful to us in terms of establishing contacts with the business community, as well as another in solving a very important task of each embassy - providing business contacts between own businessmen and businessmen of the host country", - said in an exclusive interview to palata.kz the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov.
Mr. Ambassador noted that only in 2015, 135 business delegations from different regions of Russia visited Kazakhstan. "We have a wide field of economic cooperation. These are: manufacturing industry, agriculture, technology, space", - summed M. Bocharnikov.
