A supplier of garment products has found new customers at the site of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of WKR
Light industry – is one of the socially oriented components of the national economy, aimed at meeting the needs and improving the lives of people.
One of the problems that face enterprises of garment industry, is sale of finished goods. In order to support domestic producers and suppliers of the West Kazakhstan region, as well as to ensure guaranteed orders by the subsidiaries of JSC "National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" under the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of WKR was established a working committee to increase the proportion of local content in the procurement of quasi-public companies. The first meeting of the commission was held in May of this year. The composition of this commission includes such representatives of the group of companies as JSC "National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna", LLP "Ural Oil and Gas", LLP "JV "Steppe Leopard, Ltd", the West-Kazakhstan branch of JSC "Kazakhtelecom", JSC "SRI" Gidropribor ", JSC "Ural plant "Zenith" and JSC “Instrument-making plant “Omega”. The total amount of purchases of apparel products for the current year, among the companies included in the composition of the commission, is about 15 million tenge.
One of the leaders in the apparel industry of WKR - IE "Tuzhilkin" held a presentation of their products during the meeting. In the course of the presentation, Deputy Director of IE Galina Tuzhilkina said that the company has worked in Kazakhstan since 1999. Sewing workshop was founded in 2004 and currently specializes in the production of overalls, the form and means of individual protection. Another area of production is the manufacture and repair of vinyl tents and canvas canopies, in accordance with the requirements of a client. The company is constantly working on expansion of the range and tries to expand its production capacity, carrying sewing of clothes according to customer requirements. IE Tuzhilkin also provides services of individual cloth designing, where they render services of drawing images on the fabric (machine embroidery and sublimation) sewing of uniforms, camouflage, working, professional and school uniforms.
LLP "Ural Oil and Gas"After interested in the sewing workshop after the presentation. As it was noted by the head engineer of the Department of procurement and logistics Kairat Karabaev, "Ural Oil and Gas" is ready to offer the producers not only annual, but also long-term contracts. "The enterprise needs to upgrade its technologies. It is clear that it is difficult to invest in the modernization not having sales. Long-term contracts partially help to solve this problem", - he said.
"We held a separate meeting with "Ural Oil and Gas", they invited us to come with samples of our products. I note that the meeting of the Working Committee is very useful for us. This is a very good meeting with lots of useful contacts", - said Galina Tuzhilkina.
The Commission took a decision to organize presentations of domestic producers on ongoing basis.
