Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus and Armenia will discuss prospects for deepening economic integration.

"I'm glad to see you today in Astana to discuss the important issues of further development of the Eurasian Economic Union. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the important date for all of us, with the second anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, which took place here in Astana. The Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Belarus have launched it, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan joined the rears", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev, opening the meeting.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that "the activities of EAEU gain momentum".
"Today we have gathered to discuss and to take important decisions on topical issues of activity of the Economic Union. The agenda consists of 14 questions ", - added the head of state.
A key theme of the meeting will be prospects for deepening integration, including the creation of common markets for gas, oil and oil products, exchange of views on the expansion of trade and economic relations of the association with other countries and regional integration organizations. Following the talks, it is planned to adopt a number of documents on the practical aspects of the functioning of the Eurasian Union.
