In the capital of Kazakhstan opened the plenary session of the Astana Economic Forum. Before the start the guests of honor and the Head of State made a joint photo.
The plenary session was opened by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The moderator of the session is the main economic commentator of “The Independent” Hamish McRae. Among the honored guests of the plenary session – is the founder of the Chinese company Alibaba Group Jack Ma.
It is important not to give way to national egoism, but to find partners to overcome challenges.
"We see that the global economy does not manage to find a new framework to reduce the tax burden on companies. The overall growth slows down, the growth of global GDP in 2015 was only 3.1%, the worst result of the post-crisis period, the fall in commodity prices reduced the income of the countries - exporters, while deflation intensified, pressure on exporting countries increased, in this case everyone incurs losses", - said in his speech Nursultan Nazarbayev.
