Companies of Kazakhstan and Russia intend to open joint ventures
On 26th of January at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will be held a roundtable "Russian-Kazakh investment dialogue: new opportunities for cooperation" and a meeting of the Working Group on the development of investment cooperation of the Russian-Kazakh Business Council.
It is organized by the Russian Chamber of Commerce, Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, Trade Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of the event is to facilitate the establishment of bilateral contacts between investment companies of Russia and Kazakhstan for establishment of new joint ventures.
During the event will be discussed the main directions of development of Russian-Kazakh investment cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union, the opportunities and challenges of the implementation of joint projects, the development of economic cooperation between border regions of Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as the prospects for the implementation of joint infrastructure projects with the use of public-private partnerships. During the investment dialogue, there will be held presentations for potential investors and partners of the priority Russian and Kazakh investment projects.
From the Russian side the event expected to be attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, regional Chambers of Commerce, Russian and foreign business, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the expert community. Kazakh delegation consists of representatives of government agencies, NCE RK "Atameken", the International Finance Organization "Eurasian Development Bank", JSC "NAEI “Kaznex Invest”, regional chambers of NCE RK "Atameken ", as well as entrepreneurs.
At the plenary sessions of the event and the sessions of the Working Group of the Business Council, it is planned to hold presentations of 11 investment projects in Kazakhstan for investors of the Russian Federation in various topical areas such as woodworking, metallurgy, construction, hospitality, manufacturing.
In the field of agriculture:
1. Organization of the dairy cluster of 200 tons of milk per day in the East Kazakhstan Region – The East Kazakhstan region;
2. The project of agrozony "Apple orchards" and agro-industrial zone "Greenhouse Paradise" - SKR;
3. The project for development of the production of fruit and vegetables using drip irrigation technology on the basis of LLP "AF" Zhanna Akdala "- Astana;
In the field of metalworking:
4. "Production of steel pipes with a diameter of 273 mm to 630 mm" - Pavlodar region.
5. "The release of the finished cases for LED lighting and related products" - Pavlodar region.
In the construction sector:
6. "The construction of a waste recycling plant in the city of Karaganda" - Karaganda.
7. "Small Orynbor" - Astana.
8. "Regeneration of residential areas in the Central Administrative District of Omsk" - the city of Astana.
9. "Hotel and recreation complex “Garden Hall” - Pavlodar region.
In the manufacturing field:
10. Construction of plant for production of wood MDF with further downstream processing - EKR.
