Borovoe will host a summit of the CIS and meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council
In the resort village Burabai of Akmola region will be held the meeting of the Council of Heads of the States of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
The draft agenda of the forthcoming summit of the CIS included 17 questions. In particular, it is planned to review the statements of heads of the CIS states in connection with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident, the fight against international terrorism. It is expected that a number of issues will be devoted to further strengthening of the military and border cooperation. Staffing problems will be considered as well.
It is expected that the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of heads of states will discuss the main directions of international activity, economic development of EAEU, approaches to the development of trade and economic cooperation with key partners in the medium term. The President also offered to consider the procedure for enrollment of new members in the EAEC and termination of a membership in the union, as well as the question of the beginning of negotiations with Israel for an agreement on free trade zone. In addition, the agenda included a number of organizational issues.
