Overtime for Armenia
On January 2, 2016 the country will apply EAEU technical standards
In two years, the Armenian manufacturers will have to produce the goods only in accordance with the technical regulations of the EAEC member states. The press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reminded that the new rules for Armenia enter into force on January 2, 2016. "This means that from January 2, 2016 all of the major technical regulations that are applied in the EAEU will be valid for the products in circulation on the territory of Armenia", - said the member of the Board (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission Karine Minasyan.
At the same time K. Minasyan made a remark, adding that entrepreneurs will be able to produce the goods into circulation in accordance with national legislation during the two years. "But it is necessary to conduct certain preparatory measures for this", - explained a member of the Board.
EEC also informed on other matters that concern Armenian businessmen in connection with the upcoming innovations. Among them: the presence of the relevant documents in the Armenian language, the transition to the regime of registration of documents on conformity assessment prior to the release of goods into circulation, and other. The Commission assured that these issues won’t be left without the attention of EEC.
