Eurasian engineering center will be established in Kazakhstan before the end of the year
The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" held the third session of the Coordinating Council for the development of the Mechanical Engineering in the Customs Union.
"We have identified a large block that concerns the development of innovation. We have included those problems, which we discussed (at the III Forum of Mechanical Engineers) for a long time discussed in the framework of the Coordinating Council of Mechanical Engineering, and in many forums: engineering services, center for machine tools. We are grateful that Bakhytzhan Abdirovich supported the establishment of such a center of Kazakhstan, moreover, we have prepared a concept of development of this center. The minutes of the Council need to reflect the need to continue to move rapidly and until the end of the year to adopt such a concept and create an engineering center", - said the director of the Department of Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission Vladimir Maltsev, speaking at the meeting.
Other participants of the meeting agreed that the engineering center needs to be created in Kazakhstan. "Based on the fact that Russia is exposed to unmotivated sanctions, and at first glance, there appears a window of opportunities. But, on the other hand, can we risk these opportunities? Everyone understands that this is a single space, and, no matter what technologies are applied, all the same they will spread to Belarus and Russia ", - said chairman of the Coordination Council Vladimir Gutenev.
The head of the Engineering Union of Kazakhstan Meiram Pshembaev, in turn, stressed that Kazakhstan has all conditions for the establishment of such a center. "We are ready for cooperation, discussion. We have a great potential, there are skilled workers, and there is already experience in the modernization of the economy. We are in the same boat and we are ready to place the center in Kazakhstan, considering the interests, depending on the contribution of Russia and Belarus ", - he said.
Deputy Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev announced the establishment of the Eurasian Engineering Center in Kazakhstan today at the III Forum of Mechanical Engineers in Kazakhstan.
