13 tons of hard cheese, which were exported from Kazakhstan, are under investigation in Russia

The cargo has been inspected by Rosselkhoznadzor officers and border department of the FSB of Russia in the Altai Territory. According to the press service of the Altay department of Rosselkhoznadzor, the cargo was transported in a “Volvo” car from Almaty to Barnaul. At the same time, the press service claims that the cheese was imported without a veterinary certificate of the Customs Union, the product is packed in cardboard boxes, the greater part of which didn’t have labels.

The information indicates that by the results of the survey in respect of the goods, there was made a decision to place it in the isolated storage without the right to further use before deciding on its future use.

In addition, a few days ago a cargo of 60 kg of Kazakh imported mutton was not allowed to the Altai Territory. The local officials banned the cargo. Rosselkhoznadzor explained that the individuals who accompanied the cargo didn’t have a veterinary certificate of the Customs Union - form #2. It is a violation of the provisions on the uniform veterinary inspection at the customs border points of the Customs Union and the customs territory of the Customs Union, approved by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union No. 317 dated by 18.06.2010.
