“Now the country undergoes a very serious industrialization process. New companies are opened every day, in which new technologies are introduced, new equipment, but, unfortunately, the training system can’t keep up with this process. There are hardly any professionals who can work on the newest equipment. The shortage of qualified staff is one of the factors, hampering the development of the economy of our country in recent years, and this issue worries the leaders of all companies without exception”, - said the deputy chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” Nurzhan Altaev at a briefing at the Central Communications Service.
He said that NCE together with the Ministry of Health and Social Development of RK conducted a survey of more than 5,500 Kazakh enterprises and identified the need in 67 733 specialists.
"In the past year we have developed a road map for the implementation of dual education. At present, 838 enterprises of Kazakhstan participate in it. First of all, they place orders for qualified trained staff with the colleges, secondly, they participate in the preparation of these professionals at the production site. Today, more than 14,000 college students are enrolled in the dual program. The main advantage of this system is that all of these guys will be employed one hundred percent ", - said Altaev.
According to the deputy chairman of NCE, there were signed 31 agreements on patronage of colleges by enterprises, there were established 39 training centers for further training at enterprises and branch associations
"The work with universities intensifies. Today the boards of directors and supervisory boards of 10 universities include businessmen in the composition – heads of enterprises themselves are working to adjust the educational program "for themselves". In our view, the draft law on autonomy of universities will play an important role, which is being currently reviewed in the Parliament ", - he added.
