Private bailiff is a good alternative to a state bailiff

A phased reduction of the number of public bailiffs begins in Kazakhstan. This was stated at a briefing in the office of the Central Communications by deputy director of the Department of Enforcement of Judicial Acts of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan Saida Sagadat.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the gradual reduction of state bailiffs is scheduled for 2016-2017. "And we believe that in 2018 we will have a minimum number of bailiffs, who will perform the judicial proceedings in the interests of the state", - said S. Sagadat.

Innovation in activities awaits private bailiffs. As of 2016, they will have the right to collect debts from legal entities, and as of  2017 private bailiffs will be allowed to work with all categories of debt cases.

But an exception will be executive manufacturing, in which the state is the debtor, as well as case of public interest, the amount of the claim of which does not exceed 1000 MCI.

According to the Ministry of Justice, in Kazakhstan now operate 1275 state bailiffs and 755 private bailiffs. Despite the numerical inequality, it is the private bailiffs that work more efficiently, said the Republican chairman of the Chamber of private bailiffs Sergey Lee.

As a proof of it he cited the monitoring data, saying that with the appearance of private bailiffs, the number of complaints on the quality and timing of the fight with the debtors decreased and, most importantly, the state began to spend less on their contents.
