Business executives spoke about the qualitative status of industries
Department of summary analysis based on the data of conjunctural survey, which was conducted by the Kazakh Statistics Committee, has prepared informational and analytical materials.
Conjunctural survey is conducted to promptly receive, in addition to the official statistics of short-term qualitative assessments about the state of business and the main trends of its dynamics, peculiarities of functioning of economic entities, their intentions, as well as the major factors limiting their activity.
The survey is a quarterly survey of business leaders, which should give a qualitative assessment of the situation at their enterprises, and forecast possible changes in the company over the next 2-3 months.
Conjunctural survey was carried out selectively. The survey involved large and medium-sized enterprises, located at the territory of all regions of Kazakhstan. The number of enterprises, selected for sampling, is not less than 6% of the total number of registered enterprises. During the 4th quarter of 2015, the number of surveyed enterprises was - 5121.
Currently opportunistic survey is conducted in the following sectors: manufacturing industry (855 enterprises), agriculture (1,520 companies), construction (396 enterprises), trade (1,500 companies), transport (450 companies), communications (200 companies), tourism (200 enterprises).
