Just 12 companies and one educational institution of Pavlodar region participate in the competition "Altyn Sapa".

For them - it's another chance to improve the image of the company and to take an opportunity to become more recognizable at the Kazakhstani market.

The Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region is engaged in the organization of the competition "Altyn Sapa" in the region. We talked about this with the Director of the Chamber Raykhangul Satabayeva.

- Raykhangul Kairbaevna what were the criteria for selection of contestants?

- A special Working Group has conducted preliminary assessment of materials and activities of the participants of the contest. The working group was composed of experts-auditors on certification of quality management systems, experts in their respective industries, as well as representatives of NGOs, local executive bodies. The selection criteria include the use of high-quality management, the introduction of international standards, customer satisfaction, and more. As a result of the preliminary assessment by our experts, there participants got scores and the documents and packages were sent to the National Chamber.

- Tell us briefly about each enterprise - the participant of "Altyn Sapa".

- I'll start with the two companies, forming a powerful aluminum cluster in Kazakhstan. This is "Kazakhstani Electrolysis Plant", which produces high quality aluminum, corresponding to world standards. And JSC "Aluminium of Kazakhstan", which not only supplies “KEP” with alumina, but also exports it to the factories of the Russian Federation. JSC "Kazenergocable", the largest enterprise in the production of cable and wire products, is also involved in the competition, the enterprise satisfies the needs of not only the domestic telecommunication sector, but also exports its products to the CIS countries. One of the leaders of the energy industry in Kazakhstan - JSC "Eurasian Energy Corporation" also announced about its participation. The share of electricity production of the enterprises is about 17% in the nation-wide scale.

The construction industry in the competition is represented by LLP "Vershina". It is an enterprise, which produces high quality paving, paving slabs and curbs, window and door frames from PVC, joinery and metalwork. I can tell a lot of good things about each participant. For example, Pavlodar tube-rolling plant – is one of the fastest growing companies in the region, engaged in manufacturing of welded steel pipes of the highest quality. LLP “Printing House” is another unique company in the region. It is a modern printing center, which is a dominant enterprise on the market of Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan region.

LLP "Pavlodar EcoProm" is a domestic producer in the manufacture of high-performance abrasive tools under the brand name “PavlodarAbrasiv”. JSC "KazBitumServis" is engaged in the production of roofing waterproofing resin facing materials, modified bitumen and other construction materials. "Firm" Dafa” is a successful venture, which produces agricultural machinery. LLP "Freytkar Komponents" specializes in the implementation of innovative technologies in the field of railway transport.

I think the farm "Sagyp" – is a domestic manufacturer kumys, which needs no introduction. Its product "Kumyz" is already known outside of Kazakhstan.

We pay great attention to the sphere of professional education. Therefore, in this year's competition participates "Pavlodar Technical College", which trains highly qualified personnel for enterprises of Pavlodar region.

- Do you think that any of the participants of the competition can get the coveted statuette?

- Our region has worthy enterprises. I'm sure each of them can expect to receive the award in the contest. Participation in the competition "Altyn Sapa" is already a success. In addition, many of these companies have already been awarded in the competition-exhibition "Best Product of Kazakhstan".

- What are your expectations of the competition "Altyn Sapa"?

- The contest "Altyn sapa" will identify the best companies in the region. Criteria of the contest reveal the strengths and those areas that need to be improved in the future. Score of the expert group of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, during the assessment, proof that these companies deserve public recognition at the national level. Participation in the prestigious competition encourages our companies to develop production, to improve the quality of products and to expand markets. These questions are particularly relevant for the development of Kazakh business in the EAEU and the WTO.

- What would you wish the contestants?

- I would like to wish all the participants a victory, never rest on our laurels, become the best in your field. As any organizers I support my region. Therefore, I wish Pavlodar businessmen to become winners in such a highly evaluated national contest.
