NCE proposes to increase funding for start-up projects for Bastau Business

About some results and plans for the project, the Chairman of the Board of NCE RK "Atameken" Ablay Myrzakhmetov reported at the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to him, since the beginning of the year, 15,000 people have become members of Bastau Business, more than 3,000 of them have been able to open their business. Next year the project will be held in 160 districts of the country. A pool of 80 business coaches has already been prepared, but there are still issues that need to be addressed. In particular, according to the program indicators, 20% of start-up projects of participants are subject to financing, the remaining funds are envisaged for the expansion of the existing business.

"We successfully exceeded the indicator of 20%. We believe that we need an indicator within 50%. We understand that there are budgetary parameters, but if possible, we ask them to reconsider. Also, we ask you to shorten the terms and the list of documents necessary for obtaining financing. In some regional centers, participants note that it is necessary to collect up to 32 documents for obtaining microcredit. We suggest taking measures to speed up the process", - Ablay Myrzakhmetov said.

Separately, the Chairman of the Board stopped on short-term training courses. Now the National Chamber maintains the Register of training centers at enterprises. Now there are 91 centers in it, in which 2516 students study. 2354 of them have already completed the process.

Ablay Myrzakhmetov also noted that the Government supported the initiative of the National Chamber for attracting private employment agencies to provide employment services for the population. The corresponding bill is now under consideration of the Mazhilis.

"Next year, 1.5 billion KZT is provided from the state budget in order for private employment agencies to competitively participate in employment. Approximately 67 thousand tenge per employer. The only thing is that before the end of the year the Ministry of Labor has accepted the tariffication and this norm has come into force. In general, we consider this direction to be promising, we must actively develop the market of private employment agencies", - the speaker added.
