Educational labs opened in Astana
The Trade and Economic College of Kazpotrebsoyuz opened training and production laboratories in the specialties "Catering" and "Marketing"
The laboratories are open to meet the needs of the city's business in such demanded specialties as a cook, a confectioner, a controller and others.
At the presentation of the laboratories, the director of the college Myrzabek Kuzhumov noted that the implementation of the project became possible due to the free financial assistance of the business community of Astana and the support of the Metropolitan Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana Gani Tasmaganbetov emphasized that in the new training laboratories training is conducted in 9 specialties indicated in the number of demanded specialties.
"These specialties are determined monthly, taking into account the analysis and forecast of the labor market needs of the city of Astana. Among them today is a cook, a confectioner, a seller, a waiter, a cashier, a controller, a baker and others", - said Gani Tasmaganbetov.
After the presentation of the training laboratories in the assembly hall of the college, a round table was held on the topic: "Two-level vocational education and business - a guarantee of the quality of training", during which participants shared their views on the problems existing in the system of technical and vocational education, as well as in the development of interaction between education and business.
