The products of Kostanay entrepreneurs meet modern trends - Ambassador of France
On the site of the Kostanay Chamber of Entrepreneurs there was a meeting of businessmen of the region with the Ambassador of France in Kazakhstan Philippe Martine Philippe Martine arrived in Kostanay region on a working visit to get acquainted with the potential of the region, establish contacts with the business environment and identify areas for joint cooperation. Business mission aims to establish business ties and find mutual interests in various fields of activity, as well as to strengthen trade and economic relations between countries. Only flax seeds are exported to France from Kazakhstan.
Philip Martine is sure that after visiting all regions of Kazakhstan, having studied the needs of the population, French colleagues will be able to identify new formats of cooperation and interaction.
"Now in Europe there is a crisis in agriculture. Even in France. You have advantages in the environment, no additives, GMOs. You have more natural products. It meets modern trends and needs. Now, organic food is gaining popularity. I think that in France there are enterprises that could be interested in your products", - the Ambassador said.
Among the entrepreneurs at the meeting were those who have long been interested in France.
So, the company "Tabys", importing alcohol, wants to expand the sale of new beverages. In the priority: to establish contact with wine producers. Kostanay residents were invited during the dialogue to a tasting in Almaty on 30th of October, where 11 French companies will present their assortment.
Representatives of the tourist industry voiced the offer of the ambassador to help in facilitating the visa regime. Mr. Martine noted that the issue is already being worked through and has revealed some details of the project. "We will create a visa center in Astana. From the regions we will collect applications, visas can be received even easier and more quickly", - said Philippe Martine.
Representatives of the construction company BK Story appealed to the Ambassador with the request to help establish contact with the largest French food retailer Auchan and a company selling goods for construction and repair Leroy Merlin, expressing hope for their presence in Kostanay.
"We built recently and opened the largest shopping center in the city, which housed famous brands. But we are ready to cooperate with the companies of France. We are ready to provide the area and discuss the details of the partnership", - said Viktoria Pak, deputy director of BK Story.
Gennady Kukoba, Deputy Director for Economic Affairs of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs noted that it is possible to strengthen partnership between Kostanay and French enterprises in the agro-industrial complex, healthcare, tourism, renewable energy.
"In our region there is a company that deals with livestock, and uses waste to generate biogas. And in general, it is interesting to know the experience of France in the processing of waste", - said Gennady Kukoba.
After the conversation and the exchange of contacts, a business mission led by the Ambassador of France showed a modern center for servicing entrepreneurs, existing on the basis of the regional Chamber. Having examined it and got acquainted with the list of services provided to the business, the guests noted its progressiveness and relevance.
Within the framework of the visit, French Ambassador Philippe Martine will also visit the large enterprises of the region EvrazKaspianStal, where they produce steel fittings, the largest confectionery factory "Bayan Sulu" and the plant "SaryarkaAvtoProm", which produces cars, including the French brand Peugeot.
