Cosmetology in Kazakhstan corresponds to the international standard

Today we had a chance to talk with the director of the scientific and production center "Rauan", candidate of chemical sciences from the South-Kazakhstan region Bisembaev Bakitzhan Tileumbetovich. As it turned out, the scientist has been working for 42 years in the field of innovation of medicinal and cosmetic preparations. One of the successful drugs that the scientist released is anotite. Anotite was at one time very popular among Kazakhstani residents, and its cost was only 47 tenge, although not inferior to French, Swiss or Austrian products. According to the professor, people still use anotite, fucorcin and other preparations of the company "Rauan" to this day.
As a company LLP was registered in 1990. There is a research and production center. It must be said that the company has always carried out parallel research work. However, after the breakup of the Union, everything was suspended. Despite certain difficulties, the company began to develop independently. And the first pilot project was associated with dentistry. The company began developing dental restorative materials, such as cement, bandages and others.
"The manufacture of dental materials led to the production of medicines. So, we started to produce naphthyzine, after the number of medicinal names grew to forty. Half of which was our own design. We conducted experiments and, as necessary, synthesized, registered products. In current days you just make one call, sign a contract, and they bring everything you need. And in the 90’s there was nothing", - Bakitzhan Tileumbetovich recalls.
With great experience behind the company in 2010 enters the cosmetics market. In 2008, the plant begins to operate, it prepares the necessary raw materials, then produces and prepares the finished product. According to the scientist, the total financial market of cosmetology in Kazakhstan is worth 2 billion dollars today.
"What we produce is also produced in other countries. We work according to European principles. Moreover, we develop cosmeceuticals, that is, our product is both cosmetic and pharmaceutical", - the businessman explains.
The company has big plans, as it offers 140 varieties of the medical drugs for the sale. As the businessman admits it is more difficult to produce a cosmetology product, in comparison with medicines. Even with the necessary result, various observations come from the clinic, such as low silkiness, insufficient absorption, etc. In turn, ancillary components are needed to solve such problems.
LLP "Rauan" closely cooperates with Kazakhstan's famous centers and beauty clinics. The developed product passes approbation through them, and only after that goes on registration.
"By the way, now Kazakh cosmetologists are developing very well. They go to seminars to Europe, and to other countries for further training. This is very encouraging. I would even say that cosmetology in Kazakhstan corresponds to the international standard, in comparison with other industries", - the company's director asserts. Therefore, he calls on the people of Kazakhstan to develop their products, and not to buy expensive foreign goods.
In November this year the company plans to launch the production of mesopreparations, which should become a breakthrough in the Kazakh cosmeceutical business.
