Entrepreneurs of the Almaty region conquer the electronic trading platform of China - Jumore. The electronic platform is one of the first companies dealing with cross-border electronic commerce. Jumore opens new opportunities for Kazakhstan's commodity producers to enter the Chinese market. At present, six Almaty region producers are among the first among Kazakhstani companies to register on this website. Among them are LLP “Pausa Product”, LLP “Lepsinsk Onimi”, LLP “RG Brands”, LLP “Syrat”, LLP “Aluminium of Kazakhstan” and LLP “Almaty Candy”.
"Our honey is interesting for a number of foreign countries, including China. This is a big market for development, where our environmentally friendly products have a huge demand and interest. Jumore is a new platform for us to realize and expand sales channels", - said Farhat Abuzyarov, director of LLP “Lepsinsk Onimi”.
The Jumore site was chosen not by chance. According to the data, over 60,000 Chinese companies participate in the international trading platform, the trade turnover in 2016 amounted to 160 billion USD, this year it is expected to amount to 800 billion USD.
In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Atameken and the electronic trading platform Jumore in Shanghai at a round table on the development of industrial and investment cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China under the chairmanship of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev. In Astana was also held a meeting of Nurzhan Altaev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of NCE RK Atameken, and Mr. Li Hongxian, President of the Chinese electronic trading platform Jumore. The head of the company Jumore said that they are interested in opening a multifunctional trade and logistics complex in Astana that will include a logistics hub, a financial center for securing transactions between the parties and a shopping center. At present, 31 commodity positions of 15 Kazakhstan companies were included in the list of the trading platform. Until the end of the year, Atameken plans to bring up to 100 commodity items on Jumore.
"Thanks to the signed agreement, Kazakhstan entrepreneurs are provided with free access to this electronic site by the end of the year. On the site you can trade with any kind of goods, from raw materials to finished products. At the conclusion of the contract, Jumore assists in the search for logistics, customs clearance, product certification in accordance with Chinese requirements and advice on the requirements for packaging and other requirements of the PRC", - said Aset Shayakhmetov, Deputy Director for Economic Affairs of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region.
On the Jumore site there are three electronic online pavilions, in particular the national pavilion provides an opportunity to enter the Chinese and international markets, expand and facilitate economic and trade cooperation. Currently, 5 national pavilions are represented on the platform, including Kazakhstan.
