The Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan and the Almaty Council of Businesswomen organized a Kazakh-Thai business forum. The heads of the largest food, cosmetic, SPA and detergent companies, producing automotive parts, took part in the forum. The purpose of the forum is to develop trade relations and establish joint ventures in Kazakhstan. "Today, the forum features 16 Thai companies engaged in the manufacturing industry and services. Judging by the pace of negotiations and the number of participants, we can say that the interest of the parties is very large. Most recently, with the support of the Tourism Department of the Embassy of Thailand, we brought to Astana a business delegation in the field of tourism. We would be happy to share with you the experience, as in the tourist industry we have something to be proud of. I hope for further development of bilateral relations", - said Commercial Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy Kittinand Nyingcharoven.
Businesswoman Sarawan Angsantikul from Bangkok brought with her latest collection of perfumes and fragrances. They are in great demand far beyond the Thai peninsula. "My grandfather founded the company, I manage it already in the third generation. We export perfume products to Dubai, Africa, Philippines, Russia. We are in Kazakhstan for the first time. The uniqueness of our products is that it is 100% natural, from essential oils. We buy the components in Paris and add notes of Thai fragrant herbs. Annually, we produce about 8 million perfume bottles, 70 employees work in our company. The annual profit of the company reaches 5 million dollars. Our company has been on the market for 40 years, and we hope that our products will please the Kazakhstani buyer", - Mrs. Angsantikul said.
"NCE RK and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the city of Almaty are actively developing foreign economic activity. The partner of this forum is the Council of Businesswomen. The CBW together with the Chamber of Commerce of RK "Atameken" conduct many joint activities, especially in Almaty, which is the center of business activity in Kazakhstan. This shows that the borders of our country are expanding, and interest in our country is growing. Since the beginning of its work, the Almaty CBW has conducted more than 180 international events with the participation of more than 5,000 entrepreneurs. Within the framework of today's forum, the parties intend to develop joint projects, open new production facilities. As you can see, interest from our businessmen is very large. It is gratifying to note that today women's entrepreneurship occupies a large share. In this sense, women are very flexible, despite the economic situation, they are actively finding new ways to develop their business", - said Akerkin Eralieva, deputy chairman of the Council of Businesswomen of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty.
