EXPO - the opportunity to establish cooperation with China
Entrepreneurs of the capital took part in the Kazakhstani-Chinese business forum as part of the opening ceremony of the Jiangsu Province Week at the international exhibition EXPO-2017. The event was organized by the Kazakhstanш Investment Cooperation Agency and the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of Jiangsu Province of China. With the assistance of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs in Astana, capital businessmen took part in the business forum. The Chinese side was represented by more than 100 delegates, including authoritative political and public figures from Jiangsu Province, business corporations in the light industry, chemistry, children's goods, waste processing, tourism, energy and services industries. The organizers of the event spoke about the economic potential of the province and the interest in developing bilateral relations with the Kazakh business. So, according to the information of the Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Zhan Hanhui, Jiangsu is the eastern province of the People's Republic of China, in which more than 80 million people live today. It is a pearl of the PRC and a leader in the field of economic development, agricultural and industrial products. Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana Gani Tasmaganbetov noted the relevance of this event. "This is a good opportunity for our businessmen to establish cooperation with Chinese companies without leaving Astana. Similar business forums, meetings in the B2B format will take place during the entire work of the exhibition "EXPO-2017. It is planned that delegations from more than 24 provinces and cities will come from China", - Gani Tasmaganbetov said. In general, the forum participants emphasized the prospects for the development of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in the light of complex challenges affecting the processes of economic globalization, world trade and the growth of developing countries. They expressed hope that the forum and the whole exhibition EXPO-2017 will contribute to the increase of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China.
