What do we know about the highest management body of NCE RK "Atameken"
On 14th of June 14 will take place the next Congress of NCE RK "Atameken", where it is planned to discuss such issues as approval of the annual report on the executed work, as well as clarification of the budget for 2017-2019 and other issues.
The first Congress of NCE RK was held on 25th of June 2014. It gave an assessment of the work done and approved the development strategy of the Chamber for the coming years. The Second Congress of NCE was held on 27th of January 2015. One of the key issues discussed at the congress was the change in the size and order of payment of compulsory membership fees for business entities. Delegates voted for the option with the establishment of six subcategories in the first category of payers of compulsory membership fees and 4 subcategories in the second.
Also, the proposals of the Chamber on anti-crisis measures to support business were submitted to the delegates for consideration. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with NCE has developed an Action Plan on support measures to industrial enterprises for the year 2015. Among them - the reduction or preservation of tariffs for railway services and electricity, as well as the preservation of production volumes through the provision of state contracts and financial resources. In addition, delegates voted to change the name of the Chamber to "The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
The Third Congress was held on 16th of June 2016. Issues of purchases, availability of financial resources, micro-crediting, illegal inspections of state bodies, development of agricultural cooperatives were discussed at it. The annual report on the results of the activity of NCE RK "Atameken", indicative medium-term budget of NCE RK for a three-year period was approved.
There were also made announcements regarding the early termination of powers and the election of some new members of the Presidium of the National Chamber, the approval of the term of office of the Board, the introduction of amendments and additions to the Charter of NCE RK "Atameken". The Charter of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan on Combating Corruption was adopted.
The structure of Atameken consists of a representative and executive body. The highest management body of NCE RK "Atameken" is the Congress.
The Presidium, consisting of three representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 16 deputies and public figures, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, 16 representatives of accredited republican inter-branch, sectoral associations and 16 chairmen of regional councils.
The Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken" is headed by Timur Kulibayev. Ablay Myrzakhmetov is the Chairman of the Board of NCE RK "Atameken". There are seven deputies of the chairmen of the Board - Nurzhan Altaev, Eldar Zhumagaziyev, Dana Zhunusova, Rustam Zhursunov, Eldos Ramazanov, Tulemis Shotanov and Yuliya Yakupbaeva, who supervise various issues.
Atameken is represented in 14 regions and cities of Astana and Almaty by the regional chambers of entrepreneurs. In order to provide comprehensive support to the subjects of private entrepreneurship and the population, 23 Centers for Servicing Entrepreneurs have been set up, and 188 Business Support Centers have been established to provide information services to entrepreneurs in mono-towns, small towns and district centers.
