Chinese Institute offers grants to Kazakhstani students
Representatives of the Chinese university were impressed with the level of technical knowledge of the capital's students
Delegation of Lianzhou Vocational and Technical Institute for Resources and the Environment visited Astana. Within the framework of the visit of the delegation, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana city organized a visit to the Polytechnic College of the capital in order to exchange experience of representatives of two educational institutions. The parties spoke about the material and technical equipment of their educational institutions, discussed possible cooperation on issues of scientific and educational activities, as well as student exchange.
Professor Shi Ningo, Professor of the Lianzhou Vocational and Technical Institute for Resources and the Environment, said that the institute has several vocational colleges that teach in a number of specialties in programming, tourism, gnostic, oil and gas, and the agro-industrial sector.
"If your students wish to study with us, the Gansu Provincial Government, in which the institution is located, annually provides full grants to foreign students with a scholarship payment. We also provide a hostel", - said Professor Shi Ningo.
According to him, training in the Chinese college will take 3 years, of which the first will be devoted to the study of the Chinese language, and the next two - to technical disciplines.
Representatives of the Polytechnic College demonstrated the Chinese delegation training workshops, where students of the Department of Construction and Maintenance and Road Traffic are practicing the skills of new professions. Chinese teachers were impressed by what they saw, noting the high level of the material and technical base of the college.
The sides also discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of professional development of teachers and masters of industrial training of two educational institutions.
