Timur Kulibayev on the development of agriculture: it needs to be coordinated
The Chairman of the Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev began working visit to North-Kazakhstan region with a visit to the enterprise.
Timur Kulibayev during his working trip to Petropavlovsk got acquainted with the activity of one of the most advanced enterprises of the region - LLP Raduga. The company is engaged in the processing of polyethylene, the manufacture of products from polypropylene. There are 220 people at the enterprise.
Dmitry Sharapaev, CEO of LLP Raduga, said that the company received state support under the program "Unified Road Map of Business".
"The competitive price was achieved through its own raw materials base, high productivity and automation of equipment, which makes the goods attractive to consumers. The geography of the supply of goods includes 12 cities of Kazakhstan and Omsk. There are plans to expand the branch network", - added Dmitry Sharapayev.
Timur Kulibayev, in turn, noted that a lot of attention is given now to business and especially to the development of the agricultural sector, but manufacturers need to coordinate all their knowledge and skills, while "Atameken" will provide all the necessary support.
861 legal entities and 2792 peasant and private farms are engaged today in agricultural production in SKR, where the third part of economically active population of the region (35.5% or 116 thousand people) is working. In 2017, state support for agricultural production will amount to 35.8 billion tenge, which is 13.7% or 4.3 billion tenge more than in 2016 (in 2016 - 31.5 billion tenge, in 2015 -17.1 billion tenge). Of these, the development of the crop sector accounts for - 17.6 billion tenge, livestock - 7.3 billion tenge, other directions - 10.9 billion tenge.
"The head of state set ambitious goals for entrepreneurs. And in order to reach the figure of 50% of GDP, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs developed a special program "10 Steps for the Development of Entrepreneurship", - said Timur Kulibayev.
On 9th of September 2016, the Head of State set one of the main priorities of the work of the Government, to stimulate mass entrepreneurship and secure employment. The emphasis was on the development of the agro-industrial complex, in particular, agricultural cooperation, as well as diversification of export potential. After visiting the company, an expanded meeting of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs with participation of the Chairman of the Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev, akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov and entrepreneurs of the region is planned.
