We need specialists with experience and without
Several dozen metropolitan companies presented their vacancies at the fair in Astana
According to the tradition, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana was the co-organizer of this event. Annually the vacancy fair is organized by the Employment Center of the capital together with various enterprises of the city.
This time organizations of the sphere of services, education, health care, and culture participated in the fair. The most popular among employers were blue collar specialists.
There was a chance to get a vacancy in the best hotels of the capital - Rixos, Marriot. For example, the world network Marriot has presented about 10 vacancies, including for people with disabilities, without work experience and special skills. "We have an economic, dishwashing department where you can find employment without experience. Some vacancies are suitable for people with limited opportunities, if they, for example, can perform simple physical work. And here, for example, supervisors in the accommodation department take only people who speak English and have experience", - said the representative of the hotel Akbota.
The employer offers good conditions - social package, food, uniform, delivery.
On this day, two public funds participated in the fair, which offered jobs for people with disabilities, while putting their products on public display. "Today we employ 13 people and we intend to take more. We train people to sewing, embroideries on tambour, decorating with rhinestones. As you can see, our handmade products are yurts, dolls in national Kazakh clothes, various products made of cloth and felt", - said Maria Tulepbergenova, chairperson of the public foundation "Silent World".
She noted that people working in the fund are paid through the Employment Center as for public works. They also get small bonuses, if you manage to sell products well. "We are exhibiting mainly in charity exhibitions, because at other exhibitions they ask money for the placement of goods. Now we would like to sell our souvenirs at the airport of the city and other points. We hope for the support of the public", said Maria Tulepbergenova.
An expert of the capital's Chamber of Entrepreneurs Zhanar Turebekova noted that last year, with the assistance of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs in Astana, six job fairs were held.
"As a result, more than 400 people were employed, including people with disabilities, according to the quota".
