Macedonians are interested in business with Aktobe
Aktobe businessmen met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia Iliya Psalitrov. The sides exchanged information on the prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Macedonians want to work with the Aktobe region in three main areas: trade, investment and tourism.
Today, Macedonia is one of the economically developed countries. The country mainly exports food products, tobacco products, textiles, industrial products, iron and steel. Macedonia imports machinery and equipment, chemical products, fuel and food.
The main foreign trade partner of Macedonia is the European Union. The volume of foreign trade in 2014 amounted to 12.211 billion dollars.
The organizer of the meeting the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Aktobe region Nurlybek Mukanov said that Aktobe is interested in supporting investors and business development. For the region it is entry to the European market. According to Nurlybek Mukanov, we have something to offer to the European market.
"We can provide the goods for export: it is primarily oil and gas, construction and agriculture, you know, we are already exporting meat", - said Nurlybek Mukanov.
Macedonian Embassy in Astana was opened only 2.5 years ago. And this is the first visit of the Ambassador to our region.
