Prison cell is not an obstacle for business
Business training will be conducted at correctional colonies at the initiative of the Chamber of entrepreneurs
The strict daily routine of the correctional institution, where women serve their sentence, was changed. For two days prisoners will learn the basics of entrepreneurship. Training courses within the framework of the project "Unified program of entrepreneurship development "Roadmap of business-2020".
The group includes 22 convicts, who will soon leave the prison. They will face an important question at large: what to do? So that people, that have once breached the law, as they say, do not make the same mistake, it was decided to conduct trainings within the component "Business Advisor". Maybe training will change their lives.
"During my tenure, I can say that often budding startups can only convey the idea, but they can’t conduct financial and marketing planning, evaluate how will a new business operate, they do not know how to predict the results. "Business Advisor" gives free opportunity to enhance their knowledge in the basics of entrepreneurship, including women prisoners. For them, I think the business – is one of the possibilities not only to get income, but achieve dreams in life", - said the business manager of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Elena Konyakhina. Prisoners are interested in opening their own business, says business coach. For example, one participant said that she learnt in prison how to sew. She is going to use these skills at large, opening her own clothes design studio. Another woman wants to do animal husbandry - breeding pigs. A third expressed a desire to open a catering. "We are now one step closer to achieving their desires. A teaching entrepreneurial business will help us to better adapt to the society", - noted the prisoners.
At the end of the training course, all participants will receive a certificate allowing them to participate in any government programs aimed at the development and support of business. In late February, the business - training will be held in the men's prison.
