Shubat is not harmful for health
During the round table, initiated by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, member of NGO "Eco Mangistau" denied information about "harmful effects of shubat on regional residents’ health"
Five months ago, due to allegations of experts from Prague that stated shubat has harmful substances that cause cancer, scandal arose in Mangistau over research, which was conducted by a team of public non-governmental environmental organizations from the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. The object of the study was the effect of environmental contaminants on food, namely shubat.
This statement, like a chain reaction, caused a number of negative consequences, such as reduced shubat sales, the loss of potential income, overdue loans.
In this context, the entrepreneurs of the agricultural sector appealed for help to the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs to the unit for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights. They, in turn, organized a round table, which was attended by representatives of state authorities, different laboratories, entrepreneurs, as well as NGO "Eco Mangistau".
According to specialists of veterinary department, they were not informed about any research, which was conducted by the foreign experts. And it is a violation.
Kirill Osin, director of the NGO "Eco Mangistau", refuted the information published in the media regarding the harmful effects of shubat on the body, that the beverage causes cancer. "On the contrary, I believe that the drink is very useful, and I recommend everyone to use it. With this appeal I would like to convey a general environmental problem of the region, which was incorrectly formulated and presented to the public ", - he said.
