South Kazakhstani residents are taught basics business free of charge
The Chamber of Entrepreneurs resumes the project "Business School" in the region and welcomes existing and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn the basics of business free of charge
Upon completion of training trainees will receive a certificate entitling them to obtain grant funding and loan guarantees at development banks.
As indicated last year, all the stages of the project "Business School": "Business Advisor", "Project-based learning with mentoring principles", "business growth" won great popularity among the South Kazakhstan residents. In 2016, 1,200 people were trained, including 498 new entrepreneurs in Shymkent.
After passing the training 195 people (16.4%) have established and expanded their business, including 83 people received different kinds of funding at financial institutions.
Training at "Business School" consists of three stages:
Stage I - "Business Advisor" - a short-term training on how to build your own business, marketing, human resource management, legal basics of running business, finance, etc. The duration of the course of study – is at least 16 hours. Classes are held in interactive mode with the discussion of practical situations and exercises.
Stage II - "Business Growth" - provides training to SMEs, with a Certificate of Completion of the project "Business Advisor", and includes a short-term training of entrepreneurs on functional areas of knowledge and the development of entrepreneurial activity (options are available for an entrepreneur).
Stage III - "Project-based learning with mentoring elements".
Groups by areas and types of projects are selected and assembled from students trained in the first stage. Aspiring entrepreneurs are provided a choice of several small projects that can be implemented in a given area or a mono-town.
A visit to ready projects is executed in order to obtain practical experience, clarifications to questions, arising from the students.
Learners are provided educational materials on the basics of doing business, a standard package of documents, including business plans, sample documents to receive funding, the results of market research, international experience in the field of innovation, as well as manuals on the ideas of creating small businesses.
