In Almaty was presented a book about the 25-year history of the Kazakhstani business
The book is about 25 Kazakhstani businessmen. They are the ones who started their business in the most difficult years for the country, at the dawn of independence and whose businesses have helped the formation of the young republic's economy. The initiator of the book was the Almaty Management University (AlmaU). University released it as a gift for the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. The idea was eagerly supported by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
"The book about the heroes includes businessmen from all regions of Kazakhstan. General sponsor of the project is the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, which assisted in the formation of a list of characters and financing", - said the president of "AlmaU "Asylbek Kozhakhmetov.
During the presentation of the book, businessmen, now included in the story noted that they have passed the difficult path of running own business together with the republic. They created the production, opened jobs, established manufacturing of new products and thereby replenished the country's budget.
One of the heroes of the book - Baurzhan Ospanov. Today, he is a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LLP "IPK" ZHERSU”. The company has successfully developed industries such as energy, construction, instrument, metal, agriculture.
"In the early '90s, when he was still a student, he opened the video shop at the institute. He was selling everything ranging from home appliances to agricultural products. When there was a collapse of the Union, communications were disrupted, factories began to stay idle. We analyzed the market, asking someone what materials are missing, offering the goods, and businesses were glad. They did not have money, then we introduced barter schemes. It was 1992. In parallel, we have provided a variety of services, technologies, to deliver goods across Kazakhstan, and later began to carry out electrical works", - said Baurzhan Ospanov.
The businessman opened two lyceums in his native village: a sports and physical-mathematical. He established a literary award "Daraboz" for children's writers. For 12 years, he is sponsoring the archaeological excavations of burial mounds of Saka and organizes the annual international sports contest in Alakol district.
The book "Legends of the Kazakhstan business" also includes well-known businessman Alexander Deriglazov, Anatoly Balushkin, Raimbek Batalov, Anatoly Pobiyaho and others.
