Record foreign investment inflow was registered in Kazakhstan

As it was noted by the chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Daniyar Akishev, this year was registered a record inflow of foreign investments in Kazakhstan.
"In the first nine months, foreign companies have invested in the economy of our country 12.1 billion US dollars. Despite the fall in oil prices, GDP growth is observed in the country, at present it is 0.4 percent", - said Daniyar Akishev during a speech at an investment forum.
Akim of Almaty Baurzhan Baibek noted that the center for servicing investors was opened in Almaty. Now we consider the possibility of the creation of the position of the investment ombudsman.
"In Almaty, there are more than 183 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises. 14 thousand of them with the participation of foreign capital. Almaty - is the city of the private sector and capital with non-raw economy that generates one-fifth of the country's economy", - noted in his speech Baurzhan Baibek.
According to the Ministry for Investment and Development, for investors within 283 activities not related to the mining sector, there are benefits in the form of exemption from customs duties on imported equipment and the provision of land on preferential terms. Investors can also count on the exemption from CIT and property taxes on the land and compensation up to 30% of the costs while creating export industries for new goods to Kazakhstan.
53 Memorandum for the sum of 300 billion tenge were signed within the framework of the IV International Forum Almaty Invest-2016.
