Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan together with the Royal Embassy of Thailand held a training seminar "Management of hotel business"

35 managers of the hospitality industry attended the two-day seminar, representing 12 hotels in Astana and Karaganda, including Radisson, Park inn, Marriott, Rixos, Ramada Plaza, King Hotel and others.

As instructors of hotel management training were invited international experts from Thailand - Kamonkanok Kiatisakchay, Dean of the Faculty of tourism and hotel management and restaurant business of the University Suan Dusit Rajabhat, and Setaphan Buddhani, director of the Association of Thailand hotels.

This workshop was aimed at studying the international standards of hotel business for the purpose of their possible future "localization" taking into account peculiarities of Kazakhstan.

At the seminar, special attention was paid to the method of motivation, examples of service standards, as well as practical exercises.

International tourism is currently one of the most dynamically developing branches of foreign economic activity. At the same time Kazakhstan has great potential for the development of domestic tourism, and for the reception of foreign guests.

An international exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana is an important event, during which is expected large influx of tourists from Kazakhstan and from near and far abroad.

In this context, the development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan is topical as ever, and the use of the international experience is necessary to remain competitive in the global tourism market.

Chamber of Commerce plans to hold training seminars on subjects of hospitality industry in the future.
