How can farmers increase revenue?
More than 20 farmers of Terekty district attended a seminar on the cultivation of oilseeds
Despite the positive indicators, the production of oilseeds in Kazakhstan is not even. Constraining factors of its development today is absence of silos for oilseeds, special equipment and qualified personnel. Lack of knowledge is now compensated throughout Kazakhstan by a series of seminars on the subjects of priority areas of agriculture, which is organized by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
So, in Terekti District of West Kazakhstan region on the basis of LLP "Terekti May Combinat” a branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs organized and held a seminar on "Acquisition of income from cultivation of oilseeds in the conditions of economic and climate change. " For two days more than 20 participants - managers and assistant heads of peasant farms - attended a course on the development of the system of cultivation of oilseeds. Experienced lecturer Tulegen Bolek told farmers, who are engaged in cultivation of oilseeds, about the requirements for soil and climatic conditions, soil tillage, timing of planting and harvesting, irrigation.
The seminar was conducted by the methodology of local and foreign experts in this direction. All district farms, which are engaged in cultivation of oilseeds, working directly with LLP "Terekti May Combynat”, the management and experts of which have paid due attention to the organization of the seminar.
"The seminar was, first of all, struck by its diversity, - shared his impressions Lukpan Muhamediyarov, head of the farm "Sholpan". - There were concrete and practical tips that can be applied immediately, and information "for future", with which yoy don’t know what to do, but it’s of high value. In general, after the seminar, the horizon of my knowledge has improved significantly! Special thanks for the fact that the materials of the workshop have been printed and distributed to participants".
"Thanks to the workshop, we look at everything with different eyes, - thanked the organizers of the seminar on behalf of all participants the head of the farm "Progress" Fedor Savitchev. - I have no doubt that these activities will have practical benefits. It is not only useful, but also pleasant to communicate, to share experiences. The friendly and open atmosphere is so necessary in our time. I am confident that these activities will benefit us greatly".
