Kazakhstani furniture companies are ready to produce furniture under the individual requirements of each customer
This was said by the director of the Association of furniture products and woodworking industry Kanat Ibraev during the meeting of the committee on monitoring of local content in the procurement in the construction sector, which was held with the participation of deputy akim of Astana Andrei Lukin and Director of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Ghani Tasmaganbetov.
This time, representatives of the construction, furniture and woodworking companies participated in the meeting, affecting the procurement of construction department of Akimat of Astana. Speaking at the event, Kanat Ibraev noted that the domestic furniture makers can work out the best option in conjunction with the customer to get the best price. "Whether it is an economy standard or a premium class. It will be cheaper than buying in the neighboring countries. It is clear that we must make profit, but within reason. There are savings on the materials, but we try to work with quality materials. There are many other technical solutions, such as accessories. You can use a less expensive ones", - he said.
Head of the profile association stressed that Kazakhstani furniture products are in demand abroad. For example, recently they furnished a 1000 apartment building in China. We have repeatedly won at international exhibitions, including Russia and Italy.
Unfortunately, according to Kanat Ibraeva, you can’t say the same about domestic companies. In most cases, they prefer to buy furniture abroad.
"Recently, I personally went to meet 24 developers of hotel complexes. Someone wants to bring furniture from Malaysia, someone - from Singapore, China. There is no understanding ", - noted the director of the Association.
He urged the builders to support local manufacturers of furniture and carefully select suppliers, because there are cases when, under the guise of domestic producers, they get furniture of foreign manufacture.
During the meeting, the participants came to the conclusion that at the design stage, they should consider first of all the products that are produced in Kazakhstan. And they should give preference to them. "So, together we will be able to maintain and to develop the domestic production in Kazakhstan", - said Gani Tasmaganbetov.
